Psalms 34:10

Leap of Faith

A baby is thrown into the air by his father; he laughs with abundance and giggles of joy cascade from him as the gentle wind seems to hold him in the pockets of air in suspension before gravity takes over. The momentary flight causes a weightlessness that induces an adrenaline rush like nothing else. He is unaware that man was not designed to fly in the air nor that there is a possibility that he might fall and break his neck. His boundless joy is enmeshed in his trust in his father. He believes that having thrown him in the air and introduced him to unchartered territory, his father is well able to catch him and keep him safe from harm. What a measure of faith that is!!! .

It's amazing that in our sojourn on this earth, believers don't exhibit the same faith in God. Many of the things that we have failed to achieve in life is because of our lack of belief that God will see us through. Our fear has in many instances incapacitated us to the point of inactivity. We failed to apply for that job because we thought we were not good enough; we failed to propose to that lovely lady because we looked too much at our own shortcomings and not on God's faithfulness; we failed to move to the next level in our career because we love the comfort of the herd.

In many instances, we are people who could achieve much if we only could take that leap of faith. I have seen God coming through for those who dared to believe in Him in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. Scriptures speak and say that, He goes to and fro throughout the earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are perfect towards Him (2 Chronicles 16:9).

The four lepers moved in faith towards the Syrian army's camp, they brought victory and food to a starving nation. Abraham left his hometown and went to a country he knew nothing about, God counted his faith as righteousness and he birthed a nation. I don’t know what faith issues you might be struggling with, but I believe all you have to do in this situation is wait on God and believe He will come through for you in due time.

Scripture speaks and says, The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing (Psalms 34:10). Our God is faithful, and in due season He will cause all things to pass through in your lifetime. Only Believe!!!
